GO GO GO! We feel the restless movement and vitality vibrating from this photograph as the same child is portrayed three times. Referring to the one-child policy in China, the child makes her own fun and games where we see three sides to her personality. Inquisitive and playful, yet lonely. This also is conveyed through the colorful, irregular swirl motif on her outfit.
Warmth of its Own is a three part photographic series of young asian girls that Eric Guo has created as part of The Awesome collection.
Eric Guo (China, 1964) is not your average photographer. Eric Guo is not an average man either. He is a quiet, private man, whose only interest is creating breathtaking works of art. He doesn’t drive a fancy car, and you won’t see him at the next hipster vernissage. Day after day, year after year, you will find him in his studio, perfecting his art.
