Kim Jong-Un, the young Supreme leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea to be exact) is here represented even younger as the little boy who was born into a fate he never had a chance to escape. Faint tears run down his face as inspired by the history of ‘The Crying Boy’ a kitsch mass produced painting once thought to have made it’s painter, Giovani Bragolin, rich while the boy cried on in silence. It leads us to ask the question, what is really going on in Kim Jong-Un’s mind? Has he ever had a chance to be himself?
